      There is a programme called STEM (www.stem.org.uk) that can help with this – I am an ambassador for this organisation and spend time visiting schools to take part in various activities ranging from mock interviews to Lego robot competitions. If you ask your teacher to visit the STEM website, there is more information for schools on what is available and how to sign up. I’m also happy for your teacher to contact me through I’m an Engineer if they have any questions about activities in schools.

    Rolls Royce plc which has sites all around the country, also runs a STEM ambassador programme. Which includes visits to the factories; STEM days for schools, career days and a young apprenticeship programme plus school and community activity days.
