Question: what is your hardest thing to make
Asked by beep128ear to Ryan on 12 Jun 2019.
answered on 12 Jun 2019:
The hardest thing for me to make is something known as RF circuitry. Basically it is very complex, and fast electronics. Mainly because I don’t have much experience in it yet, and there are lots of small bits to learn to make them the best way.

The hardest thing for me to make is a jet engine. There are so many parts, small blades, large blades, harnesses (wiring), turbines, nosecones, nacelles and that just to name a few. The parts come from all around the world, but we do make the blades in Derby. The engines themselves are build in Derby. It can take days for an engine to be built from scratch due to the amount of travelling it does even through it may only be between the Derby sites.
