• Question: How many holidays do you get?

      We start with 21 days of annual leave ( excluding bank holidays ) then every year you work for BT you get an extra day.
      In my company we can also buy days of holiday if we did really need it.

      As a PhD student, you can pretty much take off as much holiday as you like! But it does mean you’ll have to catch up at other points in the year. In most jobs, anywhere between 21-28 days a year is pretty normal.
